As it stands now, anyone that is part of a Power BI Workspace can delete a dataset and therefore every associated report and dashboard that connects to it. It doesn't matter if they are an Admin or a Member of that Workspace - everyone currently has the ability. It would be great if you had the option at the Workspace level to lock/protect a dataset in a Workspace and only allow Admins to delete a dataset.

- noellevineNew MemberThis should also apply to refreshing a dataset. Members should not be able to trigger a refresh via the refresh now option because that may impact server resources at the wrong time.

- grantzhNew MemberYes, my customer also want to control the dataset rights in the workspace, can let the user access the data set to make their own report, but do not allow them to edit or delete the data set.
