Property to change top left loading/refresh indicator

It would be great to have a property for all visuals wherein you could specify your own "loading" or "refresh" indicator GIF and more importantly an additional checkbox property to give the user the ability to cover the entire visual's width and height with a custom or default dots animation GIF that has a near opaque background. This way, the report consumer very clearly knows it when that visual is being refreshed or loaded. The problem right now I feel is that the dots animation at the top left of every report visual is very small and not easily noticed especially if you have a lot of charts, slicers and other items on your report that are close to each other with customized titles and backgrounds for report visuals.

This has been a serious issue for my dashboards. 1. My dashboards involve multiple components in which some load sooner than the others. This results in a confusion for the users. 2. Aesthetically the small spinners look terrible when you have multiple components.

ya, that was one of the user requirements as my report contained many components, and placed close to each other. End users have to closely look at which charts are processing and which has finished 1.There should be options to include custome GIF for loading 2. Loading icon position option should be there like ...... top left, top middle, top right, Middle of Chart, Bottom(left, middle, right)), or even options INSIDE(not top) any 4 corners of the rectangular charts to save space and exactly visible on that chart.

Definately an issue with our released embedded solutions, as the spinners block visual Title Text

Completely agree. My users have had issues being able to see the loading icon and don't know that visuals are still loading. We definitely need to be able to modify the refresh inficator.

exactly the same here: issue to see the loading icon. Effect: wrong proposals & people do not lilke PowerBI this way.

As power bi use is spreading in my company, I'm hearing this exact same thing. Newbies aren't seeing it, not realizing the visualization is loading/rendering, and start clicking wildly, and then complain "it's broken".

479/5000 Power BI is growing in my company, and I'm also having problems in some reports where part of the report is calculated quickly and another part requires a more complex / time-consuming calculation, as the user can not visualize that it is loading due to the positioning and size of the spinner, it gets consufo. an initial suggestion would be to let us choose the spinner's size and position, fading the background indicating that the look is being updated.

PowerBI is quickly becoming the preferred tool to use for reporting in our company. A very common complaint from users is that it is difficult to see if a visual is still being updated. The indicator is very faint in the upper corner, frequently users are mistaking that all values displayed are refreshed but in many cases the data is still loading. It is very confusing for the users. At the very least there should be enhancements made to the indicator to display something that is easier to see/identify.

It is very difficult the current progress loading icon is so tiny. It is good to have page level loading icon to show once data set\ tables are loaded. This is very useful feature.
