Print option from Power BI Desktop

A print option for Power BI Desktop is required. This will support design and development efforts by having a hard copy available for use in scenarios where online and real-time are not the best approach or even the most appropriate approach.

You can print from Power Bi Report Server.

Hi Kim. My business clients require the ability to print the reports and/or publish to MS Word/PowerPoint to present to senior management. I have 30 charts on the one report and the current print function squeezes them all on to one page so that they are unreadable when printed. Need the ability to print over multiple pages. I have tried exporting to PowerPoint but encountered the same issue. Currently, we take screen shots and copy and paste into MS Word. We put some words around the reports and publish to senior management. It is time consuming and an export to Word or Print an individual chart within a report would be useful.

2+ years later and still can't print from Power BI desktop or via Power BI Report Server, BUT you can sure print dashboards if you pay for Power BI Service, huh?

I would like a print button control for powerbi reports. The button should allow a print screen to all the usual targets. A print option should also be available on all visualizations to cater for printing contents of multi-row cards, matrices and other list based visuals. Can you let me know if any such development is being considered. Thank You.

Print to printer or "print" (export) to PDF - as others have said, this is basic functionality that users expect to have. BONUS: Please add support for "birsting", which is printing/exporting one copy of the report/dashboard for each value of a dimension (i.e. Group By). For example, export the report for each employee or for each customer or for each .... whatever. Thanks.

Having to give the caveat of the work-arounds required to print report pages, every time I'm trying to promote Power BI to colleagues is getting tiring!

Can you please just do this one, think of the benefits of all these people not having to complain about the lack of function. Please also remove the broken survey link:) And what does "Under Review" for 12 months really mean. It makes a mockery of having a voting system if the top voted idea mooted in 2015 can't get implemented.

Currently most of the features in Power BI are created, assuming the business will access the reports via power BI Service. But majority of the TOP level users like to see reports on a PDF or Excel file and do their predicative analysis. I know power BI is still new and adding lots of features, but some basic features like schedule delivery of reports, download reports/dashboards in many formats are need to be there.
