In Power BI Service, we are using the “Personalize this visual” feature to allow end users to explore and customize standardized reports.
However, we’ve noticed that when users add a new field (attribute) to a Matrix visual using this feature, the row subtotals — which were explicitly disabled by the report developer — get automatically re-enabled. This causes confusion and inconsistency in the report layout, especially when subtotals were deliberately turned off for readability or business logic reasons.
We understand this is the default behavior, but it would be very helpful to have one of the following options:
