PowerBI updates will not install and have trouble downloading.

For the past few weeks, I have encountered the problem that the download of PowerBI desktop was interrupted. Resume would not work. Now, resume works, but I get an installation error that "This installation package could not be opened. COnatact eh application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package" I have bene using PowerBI for several months, and I have no issues with downloading / installing other programs
