When designing a report knowing the required or preferred format of the controls is important i.e. for a Map what is the required format of Longitude and Latitude, 40° 26′ 46″ N 79° 58′ 56″ W or 40° 26′ 46″ -79° 58′ 56″ or? Similarly for Locations, what is the precedence of an address, i.e. Los Angeles International Airport, CA, USA is plotted as downtown but if you don't provide the state and country it is correctly plotted at its location however Melbourne International in Florida without the state and country is plotted in Australia. I have yet to find documentation that provides the insights I need to correctly plot Location the first time, it is very much trial and error :( Guidance could be provided as a tooltip or bubble help rather than or in addition to the current long description.
