After waiting almost a year - I thougth that we will get an awsome feature - but the export to PPT is far away of what has been asked for, and I really don't understand why a survey has been released just to implement zero functionality. The idea was to have a feature enabling us to work more efficient with reports on paper, but what has been released is probably not usable for the most of the 4000+ supporter of the idea. To get the same result, I just print the report as PDF... So there is no benefit - except having single pictures of what I got also with a screenshot. I'm still not able to export the reports in a propper way in our CI/CD, there is no template setting, no filtering, each report with custom visuals is not usable, no export schedule or report subscription. We continue to print the screen of our 20 page reports filtered for HQ and 18 subsidiaries (360 Screenshots each week) as we had to do before and start looking to a third party tool. In my opinion, it is just sad that Microsoft can't properly implement their own Office Products into their solution - we faced the same with CRM2011/2016 where we had to implement 3rd party solution to print content to Word/PDF. Personally, I'm highly disappointed and angry, because I internally "sold" a "solution is coming soon" since April to the management. We have 400+ PBI Pro licences - and are still not able to get the reports properly on paper for management review and official reporting issues.

'@Alan, exporting dashboards is on the roadmap, but no concrete timeline yet. @Bruno, this feature is not planned for the desktop at the moment

Can you explain why this feature is not planned for the desktop at the moment ? Is there a technical problem ?

The preview shows that slicers are exported then says that the graphics are static. We really need the slicers to be usable. What is the point of exporting them if they are not usable in Excel. The graphics also need to have a way of being updated when the data changes.

two and half week has past, still no update. It appears the BI team faces some hurdles which is understandable given the pressure of the monthly cycle. It's been almost two years since it was shared and accumulated 5.2K votes, I think we deserve better.

In its current form I can't really see much value in this feature. All of my reports require filters. When exporting the selected filters are ignored.

This feature did not prove useful to me. what I was expecting was an actual integration rather than copy paste screenshot stuff. Something like the devscope plugin would be really helpful.

All you did is a fancy screen capture, with issues of changing things on you. Will there ever be a interactive Power BI within Power Point?

Hi, When i apply a report filter or any other filter, the export to PP does not respect the filter. It export the entire report. Can atleast this feature be considered earlier. Interactivity can come in later.
