Power BI - Publish from the first tab

"Can you republish the dashboard from the first tab plz?"

Tired to hear this 🙂

For a next version, add a checkbox like : "Always publish from the first tab"

or a submenu to "Publish" > Publish from the the first tab

There are plenty of asks for this already. Usually they have a slightly different form - being able to set any page as the default. In my own dashboards, the default page isn't always the first one. For example, a hidden filter page, plus some front matter like showing the metadata may appear first, then the welcome page comes next. Having the hidden page first makes the workbook a little tidier, and putting the front matter first means it is easier to skip quickly when scanning the list of pages. I also make use of extra pages to define sections in the dashboard, so usually one of those will be before the actual page.
