The current Explore feature is a real asset. It allows us to flexibly dive into semantic models without needing to connect via Excel, which is especially helpful when filters are already active in the report.
Recreating those filters manually each time via Excel is a productivity killer.
Here’s the ask:
Could you extend the Explore button to support Excel as well, while keeping all filters in place?
Some of domain experts don’t have a Power BI license—and don’t need one. But they do need access to filtered data fast.
This would be a small change with a big impact.
