Power BI Desktop bug using calculation groups for formatting
Measures that reference calculation groups appear disabled (greyed out) when attempting to use them for conditional formatting using Format by → Field value, even though the measures evaluate correctly and work when already applied to visuals.
This appears to be a UI validation issue rather than a model or engine issue.
