Power BI Desktop Auto Update

I'm shocked that I'm required to download a new version of Power BI every time you roll out updates. It's 2015, push those updates via the web to my desktop app, how hard can that be?

Besides the updates may be handier to Rename new updates in new versions like 1.0 2.2. Now is its shows like PBIDesktop_x64 (2).msi and the size is changed. Difficult to recognize new package.

This is a must, even for people in a organization that dont have access to readily install files. It makes this process of updating painful. Thanks

Personally, in my opinion, Auto Updates should not be installed without the user knowing. Microsoft have released the January build of PowerBI Desktop and it's full of bugs. Why would I want PowerBI to auto-update to a bugged version? - The notifications for updates are enough.

I put a lot of effort to convince the System Administrator to approve installment of PowerBI. I already asked once for new installment of updated version, I am afraid if I ask again he will not make this a standardized available software since he will be bombed with new requests every time.

Your competitors do it. Why don't you?

Ideally once installed the application will update in place similar to the other BI tools like Tableau and Spotfire.

The lack of this functionality coupled with the frequency of updates is shocking.

Same goes for custom visualizations... Updates for them should be auto-delivered and version-specific.
