I'm shocked that I'm required to download a new version of Power BI every time you roll out updates. It's 2015, push those updates via the web to my desktop app, how hard can that be?

At Ignite 2017 we announced that Power BI Desktop is now available through the Windows Store! You can get it from http://aka.ms/pbidesktopstore We know that the majority of our users are already on Windows 10 so this should be a great way for you to keep up to date with Power BI Desktop automatically and without requiring admin permissions. If you're not planning to update to Windows 10, you can still get the .msi version in the same way we've made it available before. We can also evaluate making it available through Microsoft Update. You can vote for that here: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/31732477-make-desktop-available-through-microsoft-update-f Thanks!
