Plotarea Background customization

Hello,

I am looking for a way to customize the background color of the Plotarea on a column chart.

I need to apply gradient background colors that are dynamic at the same time. I have tried the workaround of importing an image with gradient, but it is not enough unfortunately.

Any other ideas or solutions?
