Yes please add tabular model DirectQuery mode to power query in such a way that it is supported with the new Composite modeling capability. We have numerous uses-cases where a corporates tabular already exists for much of the needed data, but need to join with additional data stored in a spreadsheet. This is the most often asked request from our user community
