Please give the option to Rename the Visuals and Other objects available in Selection Pane. It will enhance the usability of Selection Pane

The selection pane allowing us to show and hide visuals only. It create confusion when we have same type of multiple Visuals or objects. If there would be an option to rename all the available objects in 'Selection Pane' then it would be easy for users to manage and it will also enhance the user experience related to 'Selection Pane'. Thanks!

This should be added to the selection pane enhancement compilation; https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/36053101-selection-pane-enhancements

When you have Card1 Card2 Card3 etc and your trying to show hide for different bookmarks its just so difficult to do. In reporting Services you can name your objects. This would make a world of difference to using Power BI

I Agree and I was supported when I asked for this in the community boards: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Rename-Visual-without-enabling-Title-property/td-p/1198649 This would help a lot when in need of switching on and off visuals on report pages.

It's possible, just double click on the item name. There should be a menu item so this is clearer.

Furthermore, enable the ability to rename the visual within the selection pane without changing the visual title. These shouldn't sync. With overlapping visuals and multiple navigation buttons, only allowing the visual title in the selection pane is not helpful.

This is the dumbest thing. It's fine to use a viz title as a default layer name, but to not be able to separate the two is pretty insane.
