Please allow CDC from On-Premise SQL Server (via gateway) to be used as an Event Stream source

Currently CDC on an on-premise SQL Server is used for database mirroring.

The new Delta Flow capability uses CDC under the covers and can access on-premise sources.

 

So why is CDC on an on-premise SQL Server, accessed via a Fabric Gateway, NOT supported as a source for an Event Stream?

 

Please add this capability.
