Pin tiles from multiple workspaces on one dashboard

I want to be able to pin tiles from different workspaces to one dashboard.

This seems like it would be simple to introduce. Just let the consumer choose the workspace as part of the 'pin visual' process. Given that we're currently stuck with one app per workspace, thus, having to create many more workspaces than I would like, it makes sense to allow consumers (especially C level execs) to be able to pin visuals from any workspace to a centralised dashboard.

Currently, our company has an environment with a multitude of workspaces containing unique datasets and their corresponding reports. We have a business case where we desire a common dashboard or app which would allow for pining various tiles selectively from the multitude of workspaces we have without duplication of these entire reports for the creation of this common dashboard or app.

This would definitely be useful, to avoid duplication of work, effort and storage; and would also avoid the risk of maintaining separate instances that could get out of sync.

Yes, I am surprised that this hasn't been implemented. There are some workarounds that are not acceptible in several of the companies I've worked in.

Really need the ability to pin multiple visuals/report pages from separate workspaces into one dashboard, especially for instances of high level executive summary reporting across multiple areas of the company.

Hi, as this feature is still not released - I use a workaround. You can republish all Reports with a live connection to the real reports in one other dedicated workspace, were you then set up the Dashboard. This works perfectly, you just need to make sure that the accesses work for the Dashboard viewers to the original report sources. Hope that helps!
