Percent of total

In addition to sum, average, min, max etc. I'd like an option in values for % of total

When is the % of column and % of row being implemented in Power BI Desktop ? We need it very badly. Is there any alternative to create it in the report.

Hi! Is there any prediction as when you'll have the % by column implemented in Power BI? Thanks

I ditto all the previous comments. This is a must have when transitioning from PowerPivot/Excel and really should be standard 'quick calc' options? Ref Kim's comments, what does "next up" mean?

How is it possible that this was not incorporated upon original release of the software, let alone still not released now?!

if you want only a percentage of two columns like : Total column 1 = SUM of values in column 1 Total column 2 = SUM of values in column 2 "Total" column 3 = Total column 2 / Total column 1. add a measure and do the calculation as col2/col1 and format as % in Modeling pane to get values as 56% or 78%.

Looks like I am just finding flaws in this program today, something this simple still not resolved?

This is only partially completed. It will not work for OLAP cubes, which is unfortunate, because Excel can do it easily. The absence of this feature for people working against OLAP cubes forces the calculations back into the cubes, bloating the cubes, and making it so that users feel they have to go back to Excel.

How to use it with OLAP source?

Hi Kim, Seems Quick Calc doesn't support SSAS Live Connection data source. Do you have any time frame that this can be supported? Thanks,
