Parameterized queries for an OData feed is not supported on the Power BI Service side

I have created a report which pulls data from project site(here project site is customized, along with default lists issues,risks, we also added another 4 lists) for multiple projects. So to acheive this functionality i have created a function and sent project name as input parameter to the function to retrieve data for all the projects.I'm able refresh this data set in power BI desktop version bot not in power BI online service? I'm thinking it will be very helpful if power BI team provides a way for it.
