PICTURE CARD BASED VISUAL MADE BY MICROSOFT TEAM

Hello Power BI Team,

One of the challenges I often face while building reports is the lack of a native visual that effectively displays images alongside dynamic information in a customizable way. Currently, I have to rely on marketplace visuals to show product pictures or info cards, but many of them are either limited or not as performant as the built-in visuals.

What I’m looking for is a visual that:

  • Displays an image (e.g., a product photo).
  • Allows the image to be interactive or serve as a background for related data.

Offers customization options such as:

  • Adding text above or below the image.
  • Adjusting font size and spacing (e.g., gap between title and description).
  • Changing layout and alignment to fit various use cases.

There is a marketplace visual called Multio Info Cards that partially addresses this need, but it's still somewhat restrictive. A built-in or officially supported visual designed specifically for showcasing images with flexible info overlays would be incredibly valuable—especially for product-based businesses where visuals of items alongside key metrics are essential for reporting.

Thank you for considering this idea. I believe it would enhance the visual storytelling capabilities of Power BI and open up new use cases for product-driven reporting.
