PBIX file lost when tried to save and memory runs out

Power BI desktop (32 bit) crashes often because memory runs out (I have a huge database and that's why 8 gb is not enough). That is irritating but not big problem. The big problem is that when PBI desktop crashed when tried to save pbix it also destroys the pbix file. If I don't use recovery (which works well!) I lose the file permanently.
