PBI Desktop terminates before loading

When I launch PBI Desktop, I get as far as the loading to model screen, and then the application disappears. No error message, nothing. It just vanishes, from Task Manager too. This started after the most recent update. I tried running as Admin, because that resolves the crash error that I experience for PBI Desktop on my work laptop, but that did nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled - nada. Please help.

This is same here . It worked when I reinstalled to 32Bit but I need 64bit! g.
