Option to use either light or dark interface.

New Desktop app update installed an almost white user interface. There is zero contrast which is not good for the eyes. I see where some people have requested a light interface so incorporate an option to select either light or dark theme like in the Office apps.

It's interesting and I don't understand why MS continues to release products that don't comply with their own standards related to "User's Ability" settings.

Just updated to the 12/2020 version from the 02/2019 version. Am in the process of following along with a paid course on Power BI. Noticed the instructor was using a dark mode, which is not available in the latest release. It's one thing to darken the brightness setting, but it's another to have proper contrast to something users will be staring at the better part or the entirety of their working day. Please enable this feature as soon as possible. It's the little things that make a difference and this change will help this community considerably. Thank you.

no update since July 2020, when is this coming? it was actually a feature before, why can't you just put it back in, and save the eyes of thousands of people?

So let me get this straight... Power BI used to have a dark theme. Taken away in 2019 or so. Immediately became a request and has been under review for what... two years now? This isn't crazy functionality this is just asking for a dark interface. This blinding white is sincerely unusable.

The fact that it's been "under review" for 18 months is quite irritating, given that it's clearly wanted by the community and isn't an extravagant feature request (especially since this feature was already available in 2018!). I really want to emphasize that this simple change would make Power BI much more usable to me.
