Onelake Shortcut variables are not updating to with the new values

Shortcut variables are mapped to the variable library. When we change the default values to new ones and click "update variables" in Lakehouse, it still refers to the old values. The new values aren't reflected, and if we move to production, this could cause our data to be misleading.

I think shortcuts should always use the current value in the Variable Library. I don't understand why we need to click "Update variables". I'm sorry to hear even clicking Update Variables doesn't work in your case. It works for me, but it is another manual thing I need to remember to do in Fabric, which seems unfortunate to me.
