I attended the CRM Dynamics Blitz yesterday and they said that OneNote will be an option in addition to the notes column. I find this awesome. Can PowerBI look at the OneNote data remotely like Excel?

- eerbaNew Memberthis would be a great option. I keep a journal of our monthly data processing at work in onenote. it would be nice to incorporate these with the powerbi desktop reports.
- RajkumarAdvocate IIIt would be better to have the ability for Power BI to connect to the OneNote directly so that we can retrive notes info to the power BI reports. In my usecase we have project site for each project, there is a notebook section for each project site. we would like to read the notebook information to the power BI report to show them project wise notes at a single place.
- trevbAdvocate IIConnectivity into onenote itself would be great. Onenote tag finding is pretty poor and the ability to report on various aspects of notebooks would be good too. Sounds like some integration is called for.
- matt_papaphoti1New MemberLike a lot of people (I guess) I use OneNote "To Do" tags to track action items that have been assigned to me and my team, I would like to be able to get all tag data from a OneNote notebook (similar to the "Finds Tags" table) imported into a table in PowerBI. It would be even better if the tags in OneNote have associated metadata (created date, checked date, Notebook, Section, Page, etc)

- doug_scolari1New MemberHi Al... just starting the BI journey and it would be great to have a integration to OneNote. We use OneNote tasks linked to Outlook tasks to manage day to day activities based on a monthly schedule. Would be good to be able to use BI to track and report progress of the tasks into a dashboard.
- josiahNew MemberWe use OneNote for weekly reports and it'd be great to extract the tables we use to track our work.
- v-sttaubFrequent VisitorI would love to be able to access OneNote data in my PowerBI reporting, as well. I have the same request as the one created by "Anonymous" here Having the ability to sum up 100's of items in a to do list (and the text comments linked to each one)would be invaluable.
