On premise CRM Dynamics

It seems odd that the OData feed doesn't work for CRM On-premise, but works for CRM Online. It would be nice if there was an easy way to connect to CRM On-premise. THoughts?

We have OnPremise clients that need BI tools. I have to recommend other tools besides PowerBI - is this really what you want?

not really useful to us if we can't connect to on premise and hosted customers as well as online customers.

Will Thompson, how do I add my vote as a CRM on-premise (and Office365) user?

We use CRM 2011 hosted on saasplaza.com, where it is also not possible to connect to the odata-feed (https://*.crm2011.saasplaza.com/XRMServices/2011/OrganizationData.svc/), due unsupported credentials. I think this is similar to on-premise hosting? A big yes from me then for this idea!

Hard to believe that in 2015 this is still considered "something we could look at in the future" while Salesforce, SAP, and Facebook are supported.

This could be a huge win for some of my customers. They recently invested in On-Prem CRM and have no plans to move into Online.

Connecting to CRM on-premise is absolutely a necessary requirement for PowerBi in my opinion.

CRM on-premise would probably work if the BI Adapter didn't require parameter verification and the on-premise system was using IFD ADFS.
