Great suggestion, thanks! Who else is looking to analyze Exchange information? If you think it'd be valuable, please add your votes!

allow individual users to connect their owne corporate exchnage mail account to analyse their email data based on preconfigured analytical dashboard, whilst allow businesses to do the same for all email accounts registered on exhange, including office 365 accounts

yes, lets be clear here. Exchange online as a data source would be wonderful. In the first preview of Power BI I was able to connect on one occasion and have never been able to since. It was a sad day.

Power Query in Excel has a "From Microsoft Exchange" option that can read email contents in addition to email metrics. It works with my Office 365 account. It would be awesome to have this in Power BI.

Just used the Exchange mailbox connection in the PowerBI desktop tool...disappointed to find that it doesn't include the FROM column...how does PowerBI determine what data is available from the mailbox...

Yes. Would be great to analyze email data. In our company we have alot of error logs and automatic notifications sent via email.

Also, here is a cool idea to turn your calendar into a Timesheet http://blog.stevienova.com/2014/05/22/using-power-query-to-analyze-your-schedule
