Hi,
I have installed latest Microsoft SQL Server 2022 and latest Microsoft SSMS 21 and latest Microsoft Power BI Desktop October 2025 version,
when i am launching power bi desktop i am getting error like this
"Getting the below error while launching PowerBI Desktop Error Message:
Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.MgdSqlDumper.dll' or one of its dependencies. is not a valid Win32 application. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800700C1)"
But i am able to open SSMS successfully and able to connect to databases without any issue.
problem is only while opening power bi desktop.
Can anybody give suggestions for this ?
