New Beta Text Filter Copy-Paste Not Working

When users copy text from an Excel cell directly into the new beta text fitler, it is copying hidden characters. 

Therefore the text filter is not fitlering the data as it should and we get no result.

To solve this, users need to copy the text inside the cell in Excel itself and paste this into the new beta text filter. 

Please, update this beta text filter so that it ignores these hidden characters "CR" carriage return and "LF" line feed.

I've had a similar problem with trailing spaces. An option to auto-trim on paste would be helpful in ensuring users get the expected results.
