There are at leat 3 important festures that fires with ctrl+click gesture: on slicers, on a single visual or, the most recent, on multiple visuals. The problem is that on mobile device we can not use ctrl+click gesture. I suggest to add a mobile app “multiple select” toggle option that switch between the single and multiple selection navigating a report.

- 'The multi cross filter is finally released on Feb 2018 update but limited to PC only (using ctrl + click to interact). My suggestions: - Show menu when user long-press on data points - Use radial menu. Put tooltip, multi-cross filter selection and other commands (possibly drill-through?) in it - Allow ad-hoc pinch and zoom. This will make it easier to select (touch) small-sized features. Focus mode and cross filter don't mix well
- I think it would be good to have an option for multi select to occur automatically so that a selection stays valid until unselected. E.g Turn cross filter mode on and everytime you make a selection it gets added to the cross filtering. To remove from cross filtering, you select the item again. With cross filter mode off, it behaves as it does now. This could apply to both mobile and PC reports.
- Is the possibillity to enable the multi-select option for slicers not enough for you? That is already available and does also work on mobile.
- My understanding is there are several 3rd party filters...Smart Filter, Attribute Slicer, and Chiclet Slicer that provide this functionality. It seems like the native capability should be there as well.
- Not all reports need slicers, and this function should be available without having to use them. We have built reports where you might need to filter on 3 + charts to explore the data. Our users may be using these reports on an Ipad, so this function would greatly help our business.
- Can we not make a selection (when clicked/touched) on chart or charts in the report to be enabled all the time in Ipad and PC? Not having this feature this can be a big issue for Mobile/Ipad users. It is good that you enabled this feature for PC version, but please do the same for IPAD or any other mobile device.
- I just find a way for multi-selection on my ipad I was trying selecting one by one but it doesn't work. For example I was trying to select with my finger January, then February, then March, etc. Then, I selected all the months and THEN, deselect the months that I didn't want. After that: it is possible to select one by one the ones that you DEselect
- Fully agree. It’s frustrating not having this functionality in Ipad
