May I suggest we take this one step further by borrowing a key idea from XBRL. Each column header could be linked to a metadata table keyed on: 1: the original name from the query; 2: the language identifier (suggest using ISO639 codes as default but allow others for internal use); 3: label type; and 4: label role Label type is either "Label" for text that appears as per the current situation; or "Documentation" for text that appears in a pop up box as you mouse over the "Label" text. This is the key to attaching user documentation to explain the purpose/meaning of the data in the reports so that it is always available and accessible to users because it's part of the report itself. Typical label roles would be: Standard label Short Label Verbose label
