In the web app, when users are part of a group associated with group workspaces and have no content in their personal workspace, the web app shows no menu on the left and so they can not access the group workspace to see the reports and dashboards. The web app only asks them if they want to "get data" and lists the four typical options presented. There should be a way for ALL users in a group to be automatically directed to the group workspace. Featured dashboards and favorites does NOT solve this since this only applies/saves at the user level and NOT the group level. Also, the organization/interactivity of the workspace navigation is not very obvious to new/casual users. We are trying to use power BI as an enterprise web reporting portal and users get lost because navigation is not intuitive and the web app defaults to the personal workspace, and none of our users will have anything in their personal workspace, they just want to see the enterprise reports.
