Matrix/Table grand totals with Measures

It would be great if Grand Totals on a Matrix or Table would add up correctly to the sum of the rows when you include MEASURES in the visual. Currently the total on a measure consists of the measure function itself, instead of the sum of the rows above. PLEASE give us the option to toggle totals to be a simple aggregate of the rows above also.

it's too misleading, now not sure if I need to go back verify every detail in a very complicated model

Please give an option to display the total result of the formula or the sum of the row values!

Why does this happen, Is there a reasonable explanation for it? How can we work around this? Is there any point in using a tool if the results are showing incorrectly. I've spent so long thinking my model was incorrect and changing it until i came across this on the web.

Total Mode 1. No Total 2. Expression Total 3. Sum of rows Maybe the third option can be a dropdown where we can choose Sum/Avg/Min/Max etc

Wait, how is this still an outstanding issue from 2016? Microsoft, can you please correct how the total is calculated for the Matrix & Tables Visualizations. Please, having accurate numbers is essential for reporting....

Please fix this. I am using a matrix visual on a drill through target page and the column total is not correct. However an Excel Pivot table shows correct values
