Matrix Subtotals - Control calculation by column

I have data that has Profit % as a column. My rows are projects and their tasks. For most of the columns a sum subtotal is fine, but summing the Profit % returns a ridiculous number. I need to enter a custom calculation based on the subtotals of the other columns. OR I need to turn off the subtotal for this column.
