There is currently no customisation for sorting of matrices. Please copy existing Excel functionality to sort by row name or by value fields ascending or descending.

Is this really an existing issue with Power BI that I can't sort on row values in a Matrix? If so, showstopper.- Yes we need this option

- You can sort the data in theMatrix by clicking on the column title/name. There is no visible option but it is there.

- I'd like to be able to define how rows are sorted. From what I can tell it's AtoZ or ZtoA, but I need to be able to define the sort order. For example, if I'm using a matrix and have text row values, the logical order in which they should be displayed doesn't necessarily match alphabetic order.

- It is possible to sort by columns, but there seems to be no existing way to sort by values :-( VERY IMPORTANT TO ESTABLISH
- It is very important to be able to sort words like week days, or months for instance. Many thanks !
