Map dot/bubble sizes should scale properly (with zero= a tiny dot)
The minimum dot/bubble size in maps is too big and as a result visualisations are misleading as dots representing very different values can appear the same size (as discussed in the forum under "desktop-Map point sizes almost all the same" where some examples are posted). The obvious answer is for zero values to be represented by single points (with maybe an option for zeros not to be plotted at all)? (I’ve posted this here so people can vote for this to get sorted)

- nishalitNew MemberAs part of our March update, we added a better sizing control that lets you adjust the size of the bubbles smaller so the range of values can be seen better. Read about this on our blog post: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-march-2019-feature-summary/#bubbleSize
- robin_paulettoNew MemberAlso you are right when you suggest we should have an option to set "zero value => no dot at all".
- robin_paulettoNew MemberTotally agree ! In addition, I think it should be one of the simplest thing to implement.

Yes, this is very important. I'm voting for that to be implemented. although I think it should be obvious ! - jsperson1New MemberIt's not just the zero values. I plotted flight counts for airports in the US. Almost every dot is the same size - 11K flights and 100K flights have the same size bubble. Zeros are not in this data set.
- ffoleyNew Memberimportant for us too - we have oe very large value and lots much smaller - and so the smaller ones are all the same size - making the map bubbles not very useful.
- franck_m20jNew Memberwill this ever be solved ?
- matthewrobert_bNew MemberExtremely annoying and basically destroys the value of having map plots in dashboards for me. Please can we get this fixed!
- alistair_cookNew MemberAgreed with all comments below, this is a major limitation and defeats the purpose of the function.
- peter_e_scrantoNew MemberAgreed, I began scaling multiple competitive intelligence dashboards to encompass larger datasets and make them useful for general purpose, and now they are all worthless... there are ~3 sizes of bubble with the data on size scaling from 10 to 1,300,000
