Make it easier to move pages in Power BI desktop

Duplicating a page is easy, but it's often inconvenient that the duplicated page is inserted as the last page. It's difficult to move the page to where you want to place it,especially of your Power BI file contains many pages. Duplicated pages should appear right next to the original page, and not at the end. Alternatively, you should be able to right click a page and give it a new index number directly instead of beinf forced to drag-and-drop the new page to the desired position.

This would be great! I'm having the very same problem and it is irritating.

This is a real problem and something so basic. As in Excel, simple right-click "move to front", "move to end", "move in front of", "move after"

It is extremely important to have this option. It consumes very long time to move pages to the desired location. Require 1. Option to create a new page in the desired location. 2. Option to move a page to a specified location.

This would be a huge improvement! I also share the same frustrations.

Agree with everyone. I am working on a dashboard with over 100 pages (the bulk hidden from end users' view). When I add a new page and it appears at the end, it sometimes takes me 10 minutes to drag it back to the desired location. Replicating Excel page/worksheet functionality would be greatly welcomed.

Just to note that this idea is related to this one: https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=bbe5141b-c25d-4626-b504-42309a5fb0af

I have the same issue with reports with multiple pages. 1 report has in excess of 200 pages

Agreed with the comments below. Since many reports have a large number of pages, we need (a) a simple way to see a list of all the pages in the current report, (b) a simple way to reorder them using a single view/menu, and (c) a way to control where in the list a new page gets inserted, rather than defaulting to the end. Currently, inserting a page in a report with 10+ pages means dragging it to the left multiple times to eventually get it near the beginning of the sequence. Very awkward and frustrating every time. Also, being able see both the internal page number (ie what PBI uses to reference the page) as well as the name displayed on the tab would help (similar to how Excel references sheets in a workbook).

I would have submited this idea, glad to see that it's already here. It is a real and irritating problem. The overall Power BI experience (which is good) would improve if solved. Thank you
