Make functions refreshable when the data source is a parameter of the function

Allow the user to choose, from a parameter drop down a server they ewant to look at. The parameter either populated from a list or query, and the datasource changed accordingly, (the last bit I can do). It would be great to add this feature, you cannot really allow users access to the desktop versin, you want them to use the server versin, but it is really tough if you cannot use a parameter to drive what the user sees.
