MDX Query is disappearing from the Source Dialog on Edit Queries window

This is an issue with the May 31 PowerBI Desktop - I use Analysis Server/Database for my source and the MDX Query that I had for my reports is now disappearing from the Source Dialog once I click the OK button.

hi, Adding an MDX / DAX query no longer works after May update for me. I can edit the query in advanced editor, but this is definitely a bug introduced recently. Br, Martin

I've had the same issue with May Power BI Desktop. Tried multiple different MDX queries that work fine in SSRS and SSMS. After clicking the Ok button it just goes to the Navigation pane as if I never entered any query.

Hello Sajeesh, Is this just one or all your PBIX files? Thanks Chuck

'FYI: it is still possible to add/ alter a MDX query using the formula bar/ advanced editor. Formula: = AnalysisServices.Database("", "", [Query=""]) >> replace " with "" in your query (if present)

The same thing here - Version: 2.35.4399.381 64-bit (may 2016) If I change an existing source it also removes the original MDX query, making it useless for me. I created this set last month so I guess this is a recent issue. ..and I can't create a new data SSAS dataset using a MDX statement. After inserting a valid MDX statement (created en tested in the sql management studio) it just opens the navigation pane. . I have got this issue on new and existing pbix files.
