Longer Descriptions and Custom Fields for all items

Hello,


Keeping good metadata on different items such as reports, datasets, dataflows etc is key for discoverability and governance overall.

however we are only given a short description field that we must complete in Power BI Service, far from the actual development process.


Things that would help>

/ being able to complete the descripion in Power BI Desktop

/ being able to configure extension fields at the tenant level, similar to what you can do in Active Directory with the extension fields

/ much longer descriptions to be able to add as much information as necessary, regarding the use case of the report, considerations on the data sources chosen and so forth -- providing a documentation that stays with the artifact.

Really missing the possibility configure extension fields at the tenant level. This would make the OneLake catalog and similar interfaces much more user friendly. Now there are no place to put critical metadata like Data Owner (from business side) etc.
