Kusto Backfill for Incremental Refresh

We have a dataset which for which I am working on a visualization. With incremental refresh, each time I publish a change I have lost historical data. From what I can see there is no way to run refreshes as if I was starting from a past date. If the data I am looking at is all timestamped, I think it would be a great feature to be able to run the queries on different timeframes in order to populate this historical data

This is not a RTI/KQL database related idea. Incremental refresh is a Power BI feature, and it works with a KQL database /ADX source in the same way as with any other. I contacted the user who suggested this idea and suggested using direct query instead of trying to import all the data in the table in an ADX database into memory
