Just like JIRA Cloud is now supported (https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/7031232-jira) we need Jira On-Premise editions to be supported by Power BI

Someone created a Power BI template for the on-premises edition (local install) of JIRA. I haven't found an official post of the template by someone at Microsoft, but it is posted at the link below. It contains the Power BI Advanced Editor code and a prompt for your JIRA path. https://www.pbiusergroup.com/viewdocument/connect-to-jira-pbit-from-microsof?CommunityKey=b35c8468-2fd8-4e1a-8429-322c39fe7110 Some additional links with advice on the proper path to use and options for Advanced Editor code: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/JIRA-amp-PowerBI/m-p/329154/highlight/true#M147021 https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Trouble-Connecting-Power-BI-with-Jira-On-Premise/td-p/459062 JQL Code to get JIRA data: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Jira-and-Power-BI/td-p/393785/page/2

We released an app for this - you may connect Jira and Power BI in less than 5 minutes:

It's available for both Jira Server/DC and Jira Cloud.
