Would be handy to have this linked. what beter way to show project progress than with a dashboard that all affected by the project can see.

To users of Atlassian Cloud Jira: i can recommend using Power BI desktop and Web connector (Get Data -> Other -> Web) During my school project I used below to connect. example url: https://yourdomain.atlassian.net/rest/api/2/search?jql=project = mytestproject order by id&statusCategory=3&startAt=0&maxResults=1000 Note: i have tested with admin credentials and Basic authentication and it works fine. Max rows is 1000 per call, so if more rows you can write paging code or duplicate queries with edited "start at" value. Then use the "append queries" function to create one large query. If you have a large dataset maybe you have to consider ETL to SQL server/Azure/local storage or so. Zappysys.com has a JSON-source connector for SSIS in SQL server Data Tools that I´ve used earlier. Hope someone can find this useful.

Jira is one of the MOST popular databases for Issue & project tracking for software teams, please consider adding this connector!

My organization needs this connector. I vote for Microsoft to provide it.
