Input Parmeters for HANA

Allow users of the Power BI Service to pass value to HANA Input Parameters. Currently Power BI desktop support HANA input Parameters. Once the model is publish into the service the HANA input Parameter cannot be changed. HANA Input Parameters are needed for Restricted calculated columns. Users need the ability to change the values in the Service at direct refresh to HANA

I'm surprised this has been posted for more than 2 years, this important feature is still missing,

This is an absolute requirement when working with Hana Calculation views. It stops having to pull large amounts of data over the network to Power BI.

I hereby confirm: all previous comments should be taken into account. The current implementation is a showstopper for reports based on HANA. The input parameter has to act as a real prompt when refreshing the dataset.

This is the key feature missing for a long time. It is preventing the adoption of PBI reports at larger scale. The direct query to Hana is preferred to apply the user access and limit the data transfer by passing the user selections back to Hana to truely benefit both performance and UI. Awaiting for the good news.

This is very useful feature, otherwise in HANA view we have to do somany joins and calculations.

This feature would not only be highly appreciated but it is certainly a must when it comes to capitalising the advantages of Direct Query connection for HANA. The use of input parameters to push down filters towards the bottom projections of a Calculation View is part of SAP best practices to improve performance. This cannot be fully leveraged unless parameters can be adjusted by the end-user during the report execution.

Its a one of the important functionality and Power BI should make this option available to change input parameter values at run time from Power BI.
