Independent Data Label Controls in Combo Charts

Have independent controls to include and format data labels when using Line and Column Chart visualizations. This visualization is essential to have data analyses with different value ranges, which means it is likely to have different labeling needs for data expressed in columns than the one used to expressed in lines.

The original request was to format the line and columns separately, which you can do today through the customize series option. Here's a post detailing the feature: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/blog/power-bi-desktop-june-2018-feature-summary/#comboLabels

This is exactly what I am looking for. I have a combo line and bar graph - I don't want labels on every point on my lines, but currently the options are all or none.

I am looking for this as well. PowerBI looks promising but this is should be a basic function and hopefully it is there and I missed it.

Would really love this to be implemented. Want to use a combo chart to show a dynamic reference line (target) but don't want to have the data labels on the line
