When working with perfect data, incremental refresh works great. In my environment, we are working to clean up our data; this causes some headache with regards to incremental refresh in dataflows. Between source data changes and mapping updates, we occasionally need to refresh the entire dataflow. Currently, that means making metadata changes or turning it off and on to induce a full refresh. My two asks are as follows:
- With Enhanced Compute Entity turned to on, enable connecting with XLMA endpoint to refresh specific partitions
- When utilizing an "on demand" refresh for an incremental refresh dataflow (or within a Power Automate Flow call), provide the option for full refresh or the normal incremental refresh
