Increase the data export row limit (30,000 rows max) in Power BI Report Server

The capability to export raw data from Power BI is an important function for many users. Presently, the export data limits are as follows and confirmed at the community link below. - Power BI Service (cloud platform): 150,000 row maximum - Power BI Report Server (on-premise platform): 30,000 row maximum Please increase the export limit setting on Report Server to match that of Service. Better yet, increase them both to a much higher limit as requested by others in separate idea posts. http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Report-Server/What-is-the-Export-data-row-count-limit-for-Power-BI-Report/m-p/343951

Hey Chris, can you provide an update since you mentioned in July 18 that it would be in an upcoming release. We're tuned, wired and set on this channel. What is the word on the street?

We would like to share our reports on a wider basis and to maintain them on one central place, but we need to increase the download limit on the web-platform of the Power BI server.

Please increase the download limit on the report server. I guess it has been set to not reduce performance but if it's running on an own server environment it would be good to let the customer decide what is more important - speed vs quantity. I suggest to make the download limit part of the customization of each individual Power BI report server admin.

I second the request to increase (or eliminate) the limit on the report server. Our business processes more than >30000 transactions at once; while there is a work around, it is disruptive and time consuming.

We must be able to have the limits of Excel in the extraction, this is must for us since we have a lot more lines of what we are able to extract for the moment! Please look in to this feature for the benefit of all of us!

YESSS! This is so important it is a deal maker or breaker. What do you do with this massive fabulous tool when your reports aren't complete because it can't handle the download? Match the 2016 Excel limit.

Both report server and service and PBIX desktop should have much, much higher export limits, for both CSV and Excel. Currently... service (150K, csv/Excel); report server on prem-platform (30K); PBI Desktop (30k, csv)
