Increase dataset size limit from 250 MB for PowerBI Pro

Now a dataset can store 250 MB of data. That’s not a lot, especially when You want to analyze big data sources. In that case You have to make additional aggregations before putting data to Power Bi. Increasing the limit to 1GB (for example) for a dataset would be very nice, especially that the Power BI Pro gives us 10GB of storage By the way, Power BI Desktop doesn’t have this limit.

We included the dataset limit to 1 GB! You can read the details in our blog post: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-service-may-update-file-size-increase-to-1-gb/#oneGB

As we start connecting more and more data sources into Power BI, we have run into the 250 MB data limit a few times. With storage limits being increased much in other online storage areas, would love to see this increase in Power BI as well.

Power BI Desktop does have the limit if you publish up to Power BI...

this is a critical blocker for us. we cannot continue using the service until this limit is lifted. we're not even a very big company and our PBIX is already at 400 mb.

I barely began putting my data together and I'm over 600mb. Please increase the limit over 1gb.

Yes please! I work worth with very large data tables and can't move forward with Power BI in my organization until I'm able to import all of my data!

We're having an issue with a customer for this... the reports are done, but cannot be deployed because of the limit size... Nowadays, 250MB is not enough!

vote it up! this limit is ridiculous. Whether the Microsoft is do not want to us to use this service?
