In-built Calendar table

Hi There, Most of the reports generated in Power Bi are based on Year, Quarters, Months, weekdays and dates. In a nut shell it’s all about calendar table. Hence, it’s nice to have a Calendar table to perform one's day to day jobs. It will be great if you can implement an inbuilt calendar table(editable) in Power BI. Thanks,

I agree, I am a fairly new user and I am having a number of problems building a calendar which works with all the other tables ( even just one other )

I think this is still incredibly relevant ~6 years later, and would be a real power feature.

Lots of newer users don't make a Date table in their model, and there's a lot of community content on the internet about how to do this. Having a one-click button on the ribbon to do this would encourage good practices and save time.

I'm imagining a ribbon button that opens a dialog, which has configuration options with defaults pre-selected, so if in a hurry you just click OK and the table is made. But if you want, you can change from the defaults. Some defaults might be set in Power BI Desktop global config, so I get my preferred defaults every time. Options would include name of table, whether to use M or DAX, which clusters of attributes to include, when fiscal years should start, etc.
