Improve slicer functionality

When I insert a slicer, sometimes when I click on an item the scrolling bar shoots back to the top without actually selecting the item. So I cannot filter my report to show specific. Also, sometimes global filters apply to my slicers and other times they do not. It would be nice if global filters worked all of the time. It would also be nice if clicking on another visual filtered the slicer to only include items falling in the category you clicked on. Again, sometimes this works and sometimes it does not.
